One hour and twenty minutes north of Spokane, the resort has been operating since 1936. It features 2,325 acres of skiable terrain and a 1,851-foot vertical drop. Its runs are 30% beginner, 40% intermediate, 25% advanced, and 5% expert. There are seven lifts, five two-seaters, one quad-seater and a surface lift. If Nordic skiing is your thing, 49 Degrees North has just opened a brand new Nordic facility where families can enjoy a variety of winter activities all at one location including groomed trails with track and skate decks and snowshoeing.
