Silver Mountain Resort

Silver Mountain is 40 minutes east of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Interstate 90. A 20-minute gondola ride will whisk visitors to the top of the mountain. The resort claims 1,600 skiable acres and a 2,200-foot vertical drop. The longest trail is 2.5 miles long. Its 73 named trails include 20% beginner terrain, 40% intermediate, 30% advanced and 10% expert. The trails are accessed by one four-person chair, two triples, two doubles and one moving carpet. None are high-speed. The resort boasts extensive glade skiing and “off-piste” adventures. The resort has a tubing park and a water park.
