Sierra English smacked a two-run homer in the top of the seventh to give Deer Park a 3-2 win at West Valley in GNL action Tuesday. The game was short on offense until that point, as both sides managed only eight hits combined. Kylie Sweeney struck out 15 Eagle batters to keep the Pirates in the game, but was on the short end of the stick until English provided the big hit, giving Deer Park their only lead of the game.
