Summary

Riley Jones walked to force in the winning run in the tenth inning, as Cheney rallied to complete the sweep with a 4-3 win over visiting Deer Park Friday. Both starters pitched well, as Deer Park's Brandon Coy and Cheney's Kyle Krieger kept the game at 1-1. In the tenth, the Stags took a 3-1 lead thanks to back-to-back doubles from Neil Lockwood and Tharon Taylor. The Blackhawks answered in the bottom half of the frame, as Chance Gleave singled in the tying run. Then, with the bases loaded, Jones coaxed a walk to bring the marathon game to a close.
