Summary

Ian Schimandle netted a hat trick as host Cheney cruised past West Valley 4-0 in a Great Northern League boys soccer game on Saturday. Schimandle opened the scoring three minutes in and then quickly doubled the Blackhawks' advantage seven minutes later. Trevan Estrellado put Cheney comfortably out front with a goal in the 33rd minute. Schimandle completed his hat trick when he scored off of Micah Weller's pass three minutes from full time. It was the senior forward's second three-goal game of the season. Cheney goalkeeper Kam Galm made one save in keeping the clean sheet. Estrellado assisted on Schimandle's second goal.
