Armando Bravo stopped two of three penalty tries to guide host Toppenish to victory over Pullman in a State 2A first round game on Tuesday. Mason Petrino scored the first goal of the game early in the second half but Toppenish quickly responded with the equalizer. After two scoreless overtime periods Bravo ended the Greyhounds' hopes for a state quarterfinal berth, allowing only a shot by Matt Winchell into the goal.

Matt Winchell and Mortiz Lange each scored a goal to boost host Pullman past West Valley 2-0 in a District 7 2A loser-out match. Pullman will travel to Cheney for Thursday's district championship.
