Summary

Freeman won a back-and-forth game two to complete a doubleheader sweep of host Newport. The lead changed hands four times in the first three innings, until the Scotties started to pull away with four in the third and two more in the fourth to lead 9-5. The Grizzlies rallied, but Freeman put the game away with three more runs in the seventh. Kalista Mettler led the Scotties with three hits, while Chalie Kirkwood also had three hits for the hosts.
