Summary

A big rally in the sixth inning proved the difference as Freeman defeated Kettle Falls in the first game of their doubleheader 5-4. In that rally, Miranda Atwood hit a two-run single to bring the Scotties within one. Then, Colbi Smith hit an RBI single to tie before Shelby Bliesner knocked in the go-ahead run on a fielder's choice.

With the victory Freeman tied Kettle Falls in the standings, setting up their second game to decide fourth and fifth place and who would travel and host their loser-out game next Tuesday.
