Summary

Riverside topped Medical Lake 7-1 on Saturday behind a stellar performance from Keelin Hunt in the District 7 1A Tournament at Nine Mile Falls. Hunt struck out nine while allowing just four hits and one walk. She also had four hits and four RBI, including a three-run homer in the sixth. She was aided by strong defense up the middle from Julie Rasmussen and Naomi Gifford. Riverside moved on to face Lakeside the Championship game, with both teams assured of Bi-District qualification. Medical Lake next plays Kettle Falls in a loser-out game.
