Summary

Jordyn Soliday had a solid day on the mound and at the plate to help Medical Lake defeat Kettle Falls 15-6 in a loser-out District 7 1A matchup Saturday at Lakeside. Soliday struck out 11 in a complete-game seven-hitter, allowing three earned runs. She also went 3 for 4 at the plate, including a triple, to drive in two runs. Chelsea Hamby drove in four runs for the Cardinals, Glori Chevers added three and Alex Steinmetz plated a pair.

With the loss Kettle Falls had its season come to an end. Medical Lake earned the No. 3 seed to the Bi-District tournament at Central Valley next Saturday.
