Summary

Jordyn Soliday struck out nine and Glory Cheevers scored three runs to lead Medical Lake past Riverside in a 1A Regional loser-out, winner-to-State matchup at Central Valley on Saturday afternoon. Glory Cheevers had three hits including a triple. Kayla Pruitt drove Cheevers home twice. Keelin Hunt also struck out nine batters for Riverside. With the win the Cardinals advanced to State where they will face Seattle Christian in Richland on Friday at noon.
