Summary

Mason Petrino scored the game-winning touchdown on a 15-yard scamper as Pullman held off West Valley 28-21 on Friday. The lead swung between teams several times over the course of the game. Petrino threw for 333 yards, including touchdown strikes to Daunte Ungerer and Ryan Vanucci. Zech Herford led the Eagles with a rushing score and a pass from Michael Chan, and also set up the visitors with several big returns. After Petrino's rush early in the fourth quarter, both teams swapped possessions, but the Pullman defense held on for the victory. Griffen Mayfield came up with the big play, intercepting Chan near midfield with six minutes left to help seal the win.
