Summary

Melik Hampton totaled 13 points, and Roger kept alive their hopes of a GSL title with a 44-36 win Tuesday at Ferris.

KJ Hassett added 12 points for the Pirates, who sit one game back of league-leaders Central Valley and Lewis and Clark with one game remaining. Also one game back are University and Gonzaga Prep.

The game was close throughout, until Rogers was able to pull away late by knocking down some free throws.

The Saxons were led by Murphy Butte with 14 points, while Mike Ervin tallied 13 points. Ferris was short-handed, as key contributors Jace Van Lierop and Braden Brock missed the game due to illness.
