Daniel Weber had a goal and an assist to lead Mead past visiting Mt. Spokane 3-1 on Wednesday in a Greater Spokane League boys soccer match. The senior forward scored in the 4th minute to open the scoring, then assisted on Khyler Howland's goal four minutes after halftime to double the Panthers lead. Tyler Smith scored from the penalty spot in the 79th minute for the Wildcats to thwart Mead from keeping a clean sheet. Adam Nevdahl scored to put Mead up 3-0 in the 73rd minute.
