Summary

Abby Nelson had a walk-off single, and North Central staved off a Central Valley rally to pick up a 10-9 home win on Monday.

The Bears put up five runs to tie the game in the seventh, with Makenna Wasteney providing a three-run homer.

But Nelson singled in Paula Pintler from second in the bottom of the frame to give the Indians the win.

Hannah George had a home run and a double for NC, and Pintler also had two hits. Shayla Vegas ripped three doubles for CV.
