Summary

Ryan Brou connected on two crucial penalty kicks: one off a foul in the 74th minute to tie the game and the other in the ensuing PK shootout to help East Valley past West Valley 2-1 (shootout) to end the regular season Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, Nick Osborne struck first in the 51st putting West Valley up 1-0. Brou's regulation goal came after James Russell was fouled in the box after he broke away for a one-on-one with the goalie in the 74th minute.

East Valley won the shootout 3-1 after two scoreless overtime periods. The teams played three times in the regular season, East Valley sweeping them 3-0, and will face off on Thursday in the opening round of districts.
