Summary

Jake Morse netted a hat trick, and Mt. Spokane raced past North Central 5-2 Friday in the District 8 3A championship match.

Morse and Tanner McNamee struck in the first half, and Morse added two more in the second to put the Wildcats in command. Aidan Chapparo and Drew Williams scored late goals to give the Indians a glimmer of hope, but an own goal shortly afterwards ended the comeback.

Both schools advance to regionals.
