Summary

Top-seeded Gonzaga Prep hung on against No. 4 University 61-55 in the 4A District 8 tournament semifinals on Thursday night. Sam Lockett drilled a 2-point jumper with 40 seconds remaining, putting the Bullpups up four. The Titans missed their following shot and was forced to foul, sealing the game for Prep.

Logan Adams sank three 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead the Bullpups. Kea Vargas, Anton Watson and Braden Morse added 10.

Spencer Matt led the Titans with 17 and Austin Dill chipped in 16.

Gonzaga Prep will face Central Valley in the District championship. University will face Lewis and Clark with a spot at Regionals on the line.
