The Kennewick Lions were up 5-0 through three innings and their starter Gerald Hein was on his game. Despite allowing four runs in the sixth inning, the Lions were able to hold on to beat the Mt. Spokane Wildcats 5-4 behind Hein's complete game, 13-strikeout performance in this 3A regional title game. Tyler Detloff was 2 for 3 with a pair of stolen bases and Garrett Dixon drove in two. Kennewick will next play at 1 p.m. next Saturday as Curtis High School.
