Summary

What happened: Both teams played strong defense throughout, allowing few scoring opportunities. The game almost went to a shootout, but Amber Hickman ended it with a nice left footed shot off an assist from Emily Williams. This was made possible by a big game from keeper Anna Boyer, who held the Braves scoreless. Mt. Spokane avenged last week's 1-5 loss to Kamiakin.

What it means: Mt. Spokane will play at Mercer Island high school on Saturday, in a glue game for a 2 seed in the state tournament. Kamiakin is done for the season.
