What happened: Both teams played strong defense throughout, allowing few scoring opportunities. The game almost went to a shootout, but Amber Hickman ended it with a nice left footed shot off an assist from Emily Williams. Mt.Spokane (6-10, 5-5) kept their playoff run alive by defeating North Central (6-11, 3-7) 4-0 today. Senior captain Hallie Vervair lead the Wildcats with one goal and adding an assist as well.
