Richland defeated Lewis and Clark in a loser-out match on Saturday. After regulation time and two overtime periods, the game entered a shootout deadlocked at zero. Richland was able to knock in four penalty kicks to advance in the GSL-MCC regional tournament.

What happened: In a regional playoff batch, the two teams battled to a stalemate before the host Falcons earned the win in a shootout. LC thought they'd gotten a winner in the 78th minute when Bekah Reason blasted in a shot from 20 feet out, but she was ruled offside. Turning point: All four Hanford kick takers converted in the shootout, while just one of LC's three shooters managed to find the net.
