Summary

Ferris pitcher Taylor White held off Gonzaga Prep over seven innings as the Saxons rallied in the seventh to pull an 8-3 victory over the Bullpups in a Greater Spokane League matchup on Wednesday. Jailyn Strauss drove in two of the Saxons' five runs off a double in the top of the seventh inning for Ferris, which only led by two runs after the sixth.

The Bullpups got three hits in the final inning, with pitcher Gracie Cunneely driving in both runs off a single.

Ferris faces the Central Valley Bears Thursday. The Bullpups also play again Thursday against the University Titans.
