Summary

What happened: It went all the way to the eighth inning, but with a runner on third in the top half of the eighth, Jaelyn Strand came through with a pinch-hit single to bring in Jordan Williams to lead Central Valley (12-6, 12-6) to the win over Mt. Spokane (9-9, 9-9).

Also key for the Bears was catcher Maci Peha, who was 2-3 and drove in the other Jordan Williams' run in the second inning.

For the Wildcats, Ashton Cathey had two hits and brought in Mt. Spokane's only run in the game in the fourth inning.
