Summary

Central Valley's Jeremy Yelland and Mt. Spokane's Marcus Cain were locked in a pitching duel that saw both starters make it to at least the seventh inning, but it was thanks to Mt. Spokane's Mikey Tsuchida with his diving catch out in center field in the seventh that saved this game and stopped Central Valley from getting a triple. Tsuchida then hit a three-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give Mt. Spokane a 5-2 lead that would give his team the win. Jacob Morgan came in relief for Mt. Spokane in the bottom of the seventh and he ended up retiring all four batters he faced, while also bringing in two hits and an RBI.
