Summary

Kyla Stern hit a three run homer in the third inning to help the Wildcats (13-2, 12-1) defeat the Highlanders (11-3, 10-3) 5-4 in a key GSL match on Tuesday. Makenzie Funk also hit a homerun for the Wildcats in the 5th inning as the Highlander's star pitcher Jaya Allen earned 12 strikeouts. Shadle Park had the chance to take the lead in the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded, but they failed to get someone across home plate as they lost by one run.
