What happened:

Jerry Twenge scored a team-high 17 points in the game as Mt. Spokane (9-12) defeated visiting Rogers (3-19) Friday night in Tri-Cities 58-38 in a loser-out matchup. Along with Twenge, J.T. Smith scored 12 points for the Wildcats.

After a controlling lead in the first quarter, the Wildcats continued their dominance as they never looked back for the win. In addition to Twenge and Smith, Phalon Maddox added nine points and Caleb Countryman scored eight points.

For Rogers, Evan Nomee led with 11 points.

Mt. Spokane will now play Kamiakin in Tri-Cities tomorrow at 7 p.m.
