Shayla Currin dropped in 17 points and had 10 rebounds, and Dayton rallied to beat St. George's 48-44 Saturday in the State 2B fourth-place game at the Spokane Arena.
The Bulldogs (22-4) trailed by seven in the fourth quarter but went on a late 14-1 run to take control. Jenna Phillips sank five free throws in the final minute to help seal the win. She finished with 16 points.
Hailey Higashi scored 12 points to lead St. George's, but the Dragons (23-5) shot just 27.3% from the field and finished in sixth place.
