Summary

What happened:

Kelsey Gumm threw a complete game one-hit shutout Tuesday as the Bears (3-1, 1-1) defeated the Indians (0-3, 0-2) in league play 12-0. Gumm struke out 10 batters and also added a hit to her day.

Central Valley got off to a hot start, thanks to some good hitting by Elise Peck and Jordan Schneidmiller. Peck hit three doubles and Schneidmiller went 4 for 4 with three RBIs. Macie Reynolds knocked in four runs to help add to the Bears' strong attack.

Catcher Paula Pintler record the lone hit for North Central.
