Summary

What happened:

Hannah Bell crushed a grand slam and Mt. Spokane defeated visiting Rogers 11-1 on Thursday. Mt. Spokane's offense exploded for eight runs in the second inning, led off by Riley Barnes who drove in two runs and was followed later on by Bell's four-run dinger that broke the game wide open. Makenzie Funk clubbed three hits on the day and starting pitcher Jesse Dupuis tallied 10 strikeouts. Gracie Olsen scored Roger's lone run with a solo shot in the fourth inning.
