What happened: Olivia Oergel got the win on the mound, striking out eight and had two hits, including a double and four runs batted in and the visiting third-seeded Rams (17-5) beat the fourth-seeded Eagles (19-5) in a State 1A loser-out game on Saturday at Columbia Playfields in Richland. Malaya Nelson had three hits including a double and four runs batted in for Cedar Park Christian. Riverside will play Montesano at 4 p.m. in the state third-place game.
