Camas def. Mead

Nov. 15, 2013

The seven-time champion Panthers (21-7), making their 15th consecutive state appearance, fell into the loser's bracket after being swept by the Papermakers. Mead will play a loser-out match at 5:15 tonight at Timberline High School against Skyline. "We've been in this position before," Mead coach Elaina Renius said. "After that brutal Shadle game (a Highlanders sweep) we felt that sting, that hurt. We need to not ... feel bad about ourselves. We need to get some energy and some heart."
