Kamiakin defeated Mt. Spokane 23-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-20 in 3A subregional on Saturday. Arianna Newcomb finished with 11 kills, 17 digs and a block, while Paiton Larson set 42 assists and also had 17 digs and a block for the Wildcats in the loss. Kamiakin will advance to the regional round at Southridge High in Kennewick next weekend.

At Mt. Spokane, the Wildcats defeated Rogers in straight sets 25-16, 25-23, 25-20. On senior night, Libby Pittenger socred six kills, and Paiton Larson recorded 19 assists and a block for Mt. Spokane in the win. The Wildcats travel to Kamiakin as the #3 seed in the 3A regionals in a loser-out match on Saturday, and Rogers will face Southridge as the #4 seed in 3A.
