University defeated North Central in three sets 25-22, 25-11, 25-10. Sydney Schlect scored 17 kills for the Titans, and Sarah Carpenter recorded three aces and 10 digs, as well. Megan Murphy blocked one shot and had an ace for the Indians, while Gazzmine Dunlap had a team-high four kills. University opens the first round of district 8 3A action at home on Saturday against the winner of the Hanford/Sunnyside match.

Lewis and Clark rolled past North Central by scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-11. Mary Stoa delivered 18 assists for the Tigers, while Gabby Norton and Emily Romasko each had six kills. With the win, LC improves to 3-5 in GSL play, while NC falls to 0-8.
