What happened: Tanner Baerlocher hit a walk-off two-run double in the ninth inning and the Wildcats (8-6, 4-4) defeated the visiting Pirates (6-9, 4-5) in Game 1 of a Southeast 1B doubleheader on Tuesday. Pomeroy starting pitcher Gunner Magill and Colton starting pitcher Landon Miller each gave up only two hits, one run and struck out nine in the pitcher's duel.
