Chelsea Fisher recorded 13 kills and four aces in leading Odessa-Harrington to a straight set victory over Republic in the District 7 1B Tournament, 25-18, 25-14, 25-16 at Curlew. Sierra Mcrae led Republic--who were relegated to play Valley Christian later in the evening in a loser out match--with eight assists and an ace. Odessa-Harrington advanced to meet Curlew in the night cap with the winner moving on to state.

Bradi Harding led Valley Christian to a narrow four set victory over Republic in a District 7 1B match. Harding totaled five kills, four digs, and 11 blocks to keep the Panther's hopes of a state playoff berth alive. Adrienne Valenti also added 11 assists and an ace for VC. Haley McRae tallied 32 assists and three aces for Republic, who was eliminated with the loss. Valley Christian will play Almira/Coulee-Hartline on Saturday, with the loser of that match also facing elimination.
