Shadle Park rallied past visiting Southridge 4-3 to keep their season alive Tuesday in the 3A subregionals. The visiting Suns led 3-0 after three innings, but Evan Douglas brought the Highlanders back with a solo homer in the sixth and then a two-run double in the seventh. In the ninth inning Payton Mackin doubled and then scored on a sacrifice fly by Johnny Krupla to give Shadle Park the go-ahead run in an eventual 10-9 win over Central Valley. Krupla had a home run earlier in the game as well. For the Bears, Tyler Pichette had an outstanding day at the plate, going 4-5.
