Shadle Park blew open a pitcher's duel with a five-run eighth inning for a 5-0 win against Rogers in the District 8 3A Tournament on Friday. Shadle advanced to play Mt. Spokane later on Friday, while Rogers was eliminated. The Highlanders strung together a series of hits with one out in the eighth, with Darren Dawson's two-run single striking the biggest blow.
