Madison Malet led the Gorillas in the pitchers circle and in the batters box as Davenport rallied past Springdale with 9 runs in the seventh inning for an 18-16 District 7 2B softball win on Tuesday at Merkel Field. Falisha Hegel allowed three runs over five innings and drove in four runs to lead Springdale (13-11) past Lind-Ritzville/Sprague (8-11) 14-3 in a District 7 2B loser-out game on Tuesday at Merkel Complex. Hegel and Bailey Brown had three hits apiece for the Chargers, who earned the No. 4 seed and will play DeSales (17-3) at regionals in Pasco on Saturday at 11 a.m.
