D.B. Cooper front page of The Spokesman-Review Nov. 25, 1971
The first story about the hijacking of a plane bound for Seattle from Portland by a man who gave his name as Dan Cooper appeared on the front page of The Spokesman-Review on Nov. 25, 1971. It was the same day final approval was given to hold the Expo '74 World's Fair in downtown Spokane.
