WSU linebacker Su’a arrested

PULLMAN – Linebacker Chester Su’a of the Washington State football team has been arrested for failing to appear for a hearing regarding a charge of driving without a license. Su’a was arrested on Thursday after judge Douglas Robinson of the Whitman County District Court issued a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday, according to patrol sergeant Dan Dornes of the Pullman Police Department.

Mayes third Cougar arrested in two weeks

The count of Washington State football players arrested in the last two weeks is now at three after junior linebacker Logan Mayes was arrested early Thursday evening on suspicion of hit and run, according to the Pullman Police logs. A WSU spokesman confirmed that coaches are aware of the incident, which will be handled internally per coach Mike Leach’s policy. A PPD employee who answered the phone Sunday morning said nobody on duty was able to answer media inquiries, meaning details of Mayes’ arrest are still unclear.

WSU running back Caldwell arrested

Washington State running back Teondray Caldwell was arrested on May 7 on suspicion of assault and burglary stemming from an April 28 incident at a Pullman residence. KQQQ 1150-AM in Pullman reported that Caldwell and a group of WSU football players were denied entry to a party, and that Caldwell allegedly struck a man sitting on the porch.

WSU receiver Loftus arrested in Pullman

Washington State receiver Drew Loftus was arrested early Friday morning after he allegedly tried to steal two bottles of tequila from the Dissmore’s grocery store on North Grand Avenue in Pullman.  Loftus, 19, was taken to the Pullman Police Department and issued three misdemeanor citations for third-degree theft, minor in possession of alcohol and minor intoxicated in public. He was released upon his signature.
