Cop Rounds Up 32 Students Officer Assigned To High School Organizes Arrest Of Trespassers

The first tangible result of having a cop on campus at Lake City High School was the arrest of 32 students for trespassing next door. The recent arrests resulted in at least two angry phone calls to school officials. Authorities said they hope they've taught a lesson they don't have to repeat.

Infant Dies In Bathtub With Mother Idaho Woman Falls Asleep And Awakes To Nightmare

A 5-month-old Post Falls girl drowned in a bathtub Thursday morning as her mother recovered from a night of drinking, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff's Department. Kelli R. O'Neill, 31, had taken her daughter Morgan into the bathtub with her around 9 a.m. and fell asleep with the infant propped up between her legs, said Capt. Ben Wolfinger of the Sheriff's Department.
