PULLMAN – The Cougars vaulted five spots in the Associated Press Top 25, checking in at No. 11 in the country when the national poll was released Sunday morning. Washington State (5-0, 2-0) upset No. 5 USC Friday night at Martin Stadium 30-27 – the program’s first victory over a top-five team in 14 years. It also marked the first victory over the Trojans in Pullman since the Cougars won in 2002 by the same score.
