Better Coffee Brew Found?

Procter & Gamble announced this week it has developed a new method of roasting and packing coffee that will cut in half the amount of coffee needed to brew each cup.

Coffee traders here said it is too early to tell if the method will catch on with consumers, however.

Procter & Gamble said it plans to test-market coffee manufactured by its patented process beginning in October, under the label of Ultra Folgers. The new label will be tested in the Evansville, Ind.
