Dr. And Mrs. Stier Deer Park

Dr. and Mrs. Alton R. Stier, Deer Park, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a reception at 3 p.m. at Cavanaugh’s Inn at the Park.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Linda Sullivan, Yakima; JoAnn and Jim Weitensteiner, Valley, Wash.; Beth and Steve Mitchell, Colbert; and Jennifer and Rick Starr, Chattaroy.

Married Aug. 15, 1944, in Spokane, the couple have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
