Mr. And Mrs. Broxson Spokane

Melburn Ernest and Margaret Doreene Broxson, Spokane, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise reception at the Red Lion Inn.

Hosts for the event were their daughter and fiance: Janis Broxson and Ken Johnson, both of Pasco.

Assisting were sons Rodney and wife Lou Broxson, Coeur d’Alene, and David Broxson, Sprague.

Married Sept. 2, 1944, in Stafford, England, the couple have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
