Fox To Reintroduce Bill On Background Checks

State schools Superintendent Anne Fox plans to reintroduce legislation requiring background checks for teacher applicants.

Her spokesman, Asa Ruyle, said she intends to push the bill again when the Legislature convenes next year. The House killed the bill in March.

Rep. Maynard Miller, R-Moscow, said there are some technical aspects of the bill that need to be fixed.
