Area Students Named To Gu’s Dean’s List

The following Inland Northwest students attending Gonzaga University School of Law have made the dean’s list for fall semester 1994-95. They are fulltime students who have achieved a grade-point average of at least 3.4 at the end of their first year of studies or at the end of any semester of their subsequent years.

Second-year students: Al Brogan, Tekoa, Wash.; Mark Foster and Melinda Foster, both of Spokane.

Third-year students: Mary Achuff, Jason Nelson, Scott Petersen, Theresa Lalone and Randall Thomsen, all of Spokane; Kimmer Callahan, Coeur d’Alene; Daniel Stiller, Pullman; and Katti Telstad, Walla Walla.

The following Washington State University students were awarded scholarships for the 1994-95 academic year from their respective colleges:

Rhonda Bafus, a 1990 graduate of Colfax (Wash.) High School, was awarded a $350 Grain Elevator and Processing Society Scholarship from Washington State University’s College of Agriculture and Home Economics. She is the daughter of Shirley and Donald Bafus.

W. John McLean, a 1991 graduate of Colfax High School, received a $600 Rolf Burger Memorial Scholarship from WSU’s School of Architecture. He is a senior and the son of Tresa and Gordon McLean.

Kuo-Rung Gloria Chien, Pullman, was awarded a $1,000 Donald Brook Scholarship from WSU’s School of Architecture. She is a senior and tje daughter of Lan Kuo and Chi-Hua Chien, Taipai, Taiwan.

Jamie Brickner, a 1985 graduate of Shadle Park High School, was awarded a $3,000 Payless Drug Store Pharmacy Scholarship from WSU’s College of Pharmacy. He is a senior and the son of Sally and Jim Brickner, Spokane.

Debbi Zier, a 1990 graduate of Walla Walla High School, was awarded a $400 Harry C. Weller Scholarship from WSU’s School of Architecture. She is a junior and the daughter of Judy and Jack Kittle.

Pamela Main, a 1990 graduate of Garfield-Palouse (Wash.) High School, was awarded a $1,000 CPCU Scholarship from WSU’s College of Business and Economics. She is a senior and the daughter of Diane and Mark Main, Palouse.

Jill Powell, a 1991 graduate of Richland High School, was awarded a $1,000 Chevron Management Information Systems Scholarship from WSU’s College of Business and Economics. She is a senior and the daughter of Lori and Frank Powell, Richland.
