Share Your Random Acts Of Kindness
The 16-year-old girl felt shy and awkward when her date took her to his family reunion. The date’s grandfather, sensing the girl’s discomfort, talked with her a long time. She has forever felt grateful to that older man’s act of kindness.
A “random act of kindness” is something done from the heart with no intention of payback or recognition. On Easter Sunday, we plan to run some more kindness stories from our readers. Please share your random act of kindness with us by writing: Random Acts Story, The Spokesman-Review, P.O. Box 2160, Spokane, WA 99210-1615. Or call Cityline in Spokane at 458-8800 or in North Idaho at 765-8811. Punch in category 9864. Or e-mail Rebecca Nappi at bfqt60f@prodigy.com.
Whichever way you choose to share your story, be sure to spell your first and last names, leave a daytime phone number and a brief description of the act of kindness that you either received or gave to another. Thank you.
