Arthur Hensel Spokane

Service for Arthur P. “Art” Hensel, 87, is planned for 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Mausoleum Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park. Burial will follow. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hensel died Thursday. He was in Milwaukee, Wis.

He worked as a bindery supervisor for Washington State University.

He was a charter member of Ascension Lutheran Church, and a member of the Sunshine Club and Loon Lake Home Owners Association.

His wife, Frances, died in 1991. He is survived by two daughters, Judy Thompson and Gloria Kuesterman, both of Spokane; one sister, Leona Stork of Otis Orchards; one granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church.

Audrey Pierce Colfax, Wash.

Memorial service for Audrey D. Pierce, lifetime Colfax resident, was Saturday at Colfax Bible Church.

Mrs. Pierce, a lifetime Colfax resident, died April 1.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Penny McGrady of Spokane; one brother, Vernon Day of Kalispell, Mont.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pelagio ‘Paul’ Padayao pokane

Memorial service for Pelagio P. “Paul” Padayao, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Riplinger Funeral Home. Cremation will precede.

Born in the Philippines, Mr. Padayao died Thursday.

He had lived in Spokane for 68 years and worked in maintenance. He had also worked for Bernard’s.

He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, Senior Citizens Bowling League, Project Joy and attended Sinto Senior Center.

He is survived by three sons, Darrell Padayao of Spokane, Comil Padayao of Lacey, Wash., and Rick Padayao of Bremerton, Wash., and six grandchildren. < Regina Potter Spokane

Vigil service for Regina E. Potter, 87, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Trentwood. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Potter died Thursday. She was born in Wheelock, N.D.

She had lived in Spokane for 44 years and was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Russell Potter, and one sister, Della Anderson of Spokane.
